Today’s lesson is “Your word is your honor,” often heard and said throughout history (and throughout our home as our kiddos were growing up). Great men and women throughout history have lived by these words and their honor. They have lead towns, cities, countries, universities sports team, companies, churches organizations and families. These people were not perfect, but their wisdom, leadership and careful guidance helped navigate those entrusted to them through ups and downs, trials, tribulations and wars that could have not ended well. They stood up to evil or hardships that came their way and sometimes, they ran toward the danger, the burning building, bullets or bombs…
Parents are raising the leaders of tomorrow. Not just children who could be a future President, but future leaders in their communities, law enforcement education, medicine, government, business technology and in every field and even in their OWN Families. Good leaders do what they say they will do and their word IS their honor & legacy. Teach your kiddos by Your Words and Your example…A tall order, but you are up to it…Our Future Matters…It’s a Great Day 🍎
