October 7 this week was the third anniversary of the attacks that began at the music festival in Israel that turned into one of the most horrific events to ever occurred in modern day Israel. I remember because we returned just days before it all happened. I recall saying to family members when we called from our trip, “I feel so safe here in a country I was apprehensive about traveling to.” On that horrific day three years ago, Hamas waged a war on young adults, unarmed, out enjoying a concert, tortured and murdered babies, elderly victims and we all probably recall stories we heard of heroism throughout the countryside that day. On this third anniversary, many chose rather than showing support for those who lost family members or Israeli citizens who live through it, to take it as a day to protest ”free Palestine” complete with organized, posters, and coordinated garb across the country, but namely in New York City, where the highest concentration of American Jews live. These uninformed, useful idiots should do their homework. I say “uninformed and useful idiots” because those committing the harm in Palestine/Gaza, are Hamas. Back in August of 2005, the Israeli government ordered Jews to leave the Gaza Strip area in order to attempt to create peace in the area. Those who took over leadership of that area was basically Hamas. They started digging tunnels and spending resources given to them by the Israeli government, on weaponry, defense etc., rather than the citizens. Basically, Hamas filled the vacuum left from the Israelis. That area is on the Mediterranean Sea. Think of the resources in that area, the desirable land that could have been developed to bring good and prosperity to the area for those Palestinians (those just wanting a decent life and place to raise a family) who live there, rather than the makings of terror. Do these (paid) protesters know this? My FAVS of these paid protesters are the Queers for Palestine. Why? Because they are unaware of how a member of the gay community would be treated by Hamas. The extreme Muslims who make up Hamas would torture and kill homosexuals. They are know to throw them off of buildings. Women are treated not much better. Forced to cover their heads, not to expose their hair, most women from this extreme culture are forced to comply with arranged marriages and many times women are married off very young. I don’t need to go on because most know how women in this culture are treated. It’s despicable. To see these young protesters whether it is the Queers for Palestine or just the “Free Palestine” variety, they have no idea what devastation and destruction Hamas, the PLO and other versions of this pure evil they represent are responsible for, when they show up to demonstrate as paid protesters.
In the past I have written about my experience observing the 1980s version of these people at the University of Michigan. Two young women lived in my dorm, the Martha Cook Building. One was the daughter of a very high ranking official in the PLO and another gal was the daughter of a Iranian general of the “newer regime of the time” that had over thrown the Shah. These women-who were very close friends to one another-not to me-were extremely disrespectful. They would often make comments like, “You Americans are so stupid you do__________” or “I don’t understand why you do ____________ here.” It was very disgusting to hear them talk like this when they were guests in our country, living like free American girls when women in their own country had to be covered head to toe. They would talk in Arabic the two of them at meals right in front of us, or in the libraries (we had a library on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the dorm that were designated quiet areas) while we were trying to study. They were very difficult people to be around.
Hamas, the Palestine Liberation Organization, ANTIFA, the Nazis, Marxists, socialists, all boiled down to hate for structure, order, freedom, beauty or success. Go back to “The Sound of Music” example, which took place during the time of World War II. In the movie we saw the Nazi soldiers ready to confiscate Captain von Trapp’s home and ready to deliver him to the third Reich Navy. The Captain wanted freedom for his Austria and for his family. The Nazis went after successful Jewish families sending them off to concentration camps, and confiscating their possessions. Interestingly, Hungarian Jew, George Soros’s family, entrusted their son to a family friend who was a Nazi officer, who was most likely paid off handsomely to look out for their son’s protection. George’s role as a young./teenager included going along with this official taking the possessions of those Jews, who were carted off in trains to the camps. It is a known fact that George Soros and his organizations fund many of the agitators and protesters we see today. It is almost if if Mr. Soros wishes to destroy this country that has welcomed legal immigrants (including himself) and is known, as the land of prosperity for those who who seek it through hard work. Sadly, Soros’s success early on was gained by taking advantage of those who were diminished and dismissed by the Nazis (and he was ONE OF THOSE JEWISH INDIVIDUALS HIMSELF!!!). I wonder if this sick situation hardened his heart and made him such a pathetic character…
Stephen Miller, an official in the Trump Administration made an interesting point in a speech recently on the radical left. Paraphrasing here, but it would be a good clip to take a look at yourself. He mentioned that the issues the radical left pushes are the same elements that these terrorist organizations promote, including the extreme Muslims, Hamas, ANTIFA. All of these basic principals are the foundations of civilization. Such as the family, order, children, respect for God and treating others with respect.
Back to “The Sound of Music,” where we started. “The Sound of Music” took place as I mentioned during the time of World War II. This was not the first time that Rodgers and Hammerstein had taken on political issues. A few years earlier they produced the musical, based on James Michner’s Tales of the South Pacific. If you recall that story and that musical, they brought up the issues of race. I wonder if Rodgers and Hammerstein were still around what the musical would look like for this time in history. What would be the theme and the lesson to teach?
The times have changed, but this time the stories are different. A Captain in the Austrian Navy could fall in love with, and marry a former nun and nanny because they had the commonality of love and respect for one another. They left their country and all of their possessions to start a new life in a free land. In “South Pacific” race was overcome because there was mutual respect and love, so skin color didn’t matter. In the time we are living in now it is hard to resolve differences in conflict when there’s not mutual respect and love for humanity. With the Nazis in World War II, the only solution was to destroy and dismantle them, sending their generals to face the ultimate consequence, death by hanging for their war crimes. Many of these war criminals went to their death with no remorse for what they had done to the millions of Jews they killed and those who survived who were never the same. Those we are in conflict with today, these radicals, whether they are within our own country stirring up trouble or overseas, there is no mutual respect and there is no love for their neighbor. Look at how these individuals are treating the countries that took them in, in western Europe. There’s no respect for a border, laws or the citizens that have paid for their welfare, schools, healthcare, housing, and food allowance.
Wake up America, the enemy is within your own home country, as well as lurking outside, both eager to destroy us. We too like the western European countries have been generous, and have opened our borders (supported them through our tax dollars) for these people who did not want to assimilate and be part of what we have here in America. They want to change it.. Our ancestors came here ready to roll up their sleeves, and to be part of the American Dream, willing to work for it and ready to contribute to America. This new variety of individuals who come here that are not willing to roll up their sleeves and work hard, would rather take from the country that has been so generous to them. They don’t deserve to be here. Those who want to change our way of life need to leave. Don’t vote for or keep them in office. Elect officials who will get the criminals out and keep our borders closed. They are not wanted. Their departure could lead to greater days for us all and resources for the Americans who are happy to be part of this great country.
